چکیده

In this paper we study a long-haul truck scheduling problem where path has to be determined for vehicle traveling from specified origin destination. We consider refueling decisions along the path, while accounting heterogeneous fuel prices in road network. Furthermore, comply with Hours of Service (HoS) regulations. Therefore, is defined by actual trajectory traveled vehicle, as well locations stops due refueling, compliance HoS regulations, or combination two. This setting cast bi-objective optimization problem, considering minimization cost and duration. An algorithm proposed solve on The builds set non-dominated paths respect two objectives. Given enormous theoretical size network, follows an interactive construction mechanism. Specifically, dynamically interacts geographic information system identify relevant potential stop locations. Computational tests are made real-sized instances distance covered ranges 500 1500 km. compared solutions obtained policy mimicking current practice logistics company. results show that produced significantly dominate ones generated practice, terms costs, achieving similar durations. average number 2.7, which allows decision makers ultimately visually inspect alternatives.

A Fuzzy Bi-Objective Mathematical Model for Sustainable Hazmat Transportation

Today, transportation of hazardous materials (i.e., hazmat) is a very important issue for researchers due to the risk of this transit, which should be considered for development of industries and transportation. Therefore, a model that is useful should consider the risk and damage to humanitarian and environmental issues due to transit of hazmat materials. By considering the related cost, the r...

Bi-Objective Network Equilibrium, Traffic Assignment and Road Pricing

Multi-objective equilibrium models of traffic assignment state that users of road networks travel on routes that are efficient with respect to several objectives, such as travel time and toll. This concept provides a general framework for modelling traffic flow in tolled road networks. We present the concept of time surplus maximisation as a way of handling user preferences. Given a toll, users...

Bi-objective bimodal urban road network design using hybrid metaheuristics

In this paper a bimodal discrete urban road network design problem with bus and car modes is investigated. The problem consists of decision making for lane addition to the existing streets, new street constructions, converting some two-way streets to one-way streets, lane allocation for two-way streets, and the allocation of some street lanes for exclusive bus lanes. Two objectives are consider...

A Bi-objective Mathematical Model for Closed-loop Supply Chain Network Design Problem

In this paper, a bi-objective mixed-integer linear optimization model for Closed-loop Supply Chain Network Design Problem (CLSCND) is developed. The proposed model includes both the forward and reverse directions and includes different types of facilities, namely, manufacturing/remanufacturing centers, warehouses, and disassembly centers. The first objective function tried to minimize the total...

Solving the Bi-Objective Maximum-Flow Network-Interdiction Problem

W describe a new algorithm for computing the efficient frontier of the “bi-objective maximum-flow network-interdiction problem.” In this problem, an “interdictor” seeks to interdict (destroy) a set of arcs in a capacitated network that are Pareto-optimal with respect to two objectives, minimizing total interdiction cost and minimizing maximum flow. The algorithm identifies these solutions throu...
